Perfect Advance Readers

Hi there,

Thank you so much for joining my advance reader team, I really appreciate it!

After a year of scribbling and drawing and editing I’m really keen to find out what you and the little ones in your life think of my book.

Just to give you some background info, I wanted to write an inclusive picture book where children of all backgrounds and lives could see themselves represented, but in a book that wasn’t all about that.

Actually, it is about self-love, self-acceptance, resilience and coming together. I think we could all use more of that in our lives!

But I especially wanted to teach children some simple ways to feel better when life is hard and to stay feeling good about themselves, so there are a few exercises in the book you can do together, which I hope they will be able to remember and use whenever they need to.

I want to give you a huge thank you for being a part of this team! I am really grateful and excited to hear what you think.

Please sign up using the form below so that I can ask you what you thought and also send you a freebie and enter you into a prize draw as a thank you for your help.

A couple of bonuses just for the

advance reader team:

A special preview of the book

And if you haven’t received your copy yet, here is a preview of a few pages of the book and the cover. You are the first people to see these, I hope you enjoy this small sample!

A sneak preview of the cover

Some more info about the characters

The children you’ll meet in this book are black, white, Asian, South American and Indigenous American. Some of what makes them special includes a limb difference, using a wheelchair, Down syndrome, a port-wine stain, visual impairment and a cleft palate.

They love and accept their unique bodies, enjoy movement, know they are perfect, accept difficult situations, work through emotions and know that love is there whenever and wherever they need it. Your child will love spending time with them.
